Super awesome study tips from social science students

In this presentation HJ and Rachel will be exploring some of the study aids they have used throughout their Open University studies. HJ and Rachel will show viewers how you can use stationery and study spaces to personalise your academic journey and will also engage in a show and tell session to share their favourite stationery and items from their study spaces.

Harleyjack Muckell

Harleyjack Muckell lives in South Wales and is currently a second year, full-time student on a Politics, Philosophy, Economics degree. Initially starting with the OU to get a taste of university while in school, he decided that the OU was for him and went full-time. Currently on DD209 (Economics) and A222 (Philosophy), he is moving on to DD306 (Politics) and DD209 (Economics) in the next academic year. His favorite aspect of his degree relate to views on the size of the state. When he is not studying he can usually be found playing video games, watching films, cycling and reading.

Rachel MacLeod

Rachel MacLeod has been studying with the OU since 2009 and intends to complete her social sciences (with politics and social policy) honours degree in 2015. Upon completion of this she will be continuing her academic career with a masters and PhD and aims to pursue a career within academia and Government. Her research interests include crime, the media and social constructionism. Rachel also runs a small business offering crime consultancy services to businesses and the their local communities.
